Empty cartridge detection

Will the printer recognise when your cartridges are running out of ink?
- The software on the cartridge chips should detect ink levels the same as original cartridges. However, sometimes this can show depleated upon installation. The only way to know is by trying a set.

Cannon compatible 540XL and 541XL poor quality colour printing and lost copy facility

Bought in December 2021 and fitted this month first time not using genuine Cannon. Print function does work but poor quality colour definition on documents. Using copy function copies are poor colour, faint and incomplete. Any help appreciated.

why my new colour cartridge won;t work

On 22 5 22 I bought new black and colour cartridges. Black is fine but when colour installed printer says "printhead is not installed install print head". I have cleaned the copper plate on cartridge but no luck.
Old colour cartridge works still.Label on it says "Tri colour but on new one just says colourOld one has a chip or something i/on the plastic strip but new one does not. Am Imissing something or is it the wrong one? What can I do now?

using the 5% Page Coverage for Ink and Toner ,
how many pages will the black print?? and how many pages will the colour print ??

With your own brand Canon cartridges, does the printer register the quantity of ink remaining

Ink quantity display?
- It depends on your printer and the firmware you have installed. The chip on the cartridge communicates with the printer and it depends purely on your printer as to whether the ink levels are read correctly. If it helps, we have not had any complaints or issue regarding these cartridges.

Cannon 540 & 541 Cartridges for Cannon Pixma Printer

Required new Ink for printing off Holiday Document the following week so to be safe ordered Cannon cartridges. Received call from CS and after given reassurance opt for CP's own. Installed them and did not encounter any error messages. Also showed as 'Full'. Quality of printing was fine for my needs so I'm very happy. Will definenitly use CP again.

Excellent customer service. Excellent value

I was privileged to receive a personal customer service recommendation of "The Cartridge People" branded cartridges and I am glad of the courtesy call. The cartridges supplied were installed and worked admirably without any significant effort. Perfectly adequate print quality in draft mode however I was unable to perceive a significant improvement in print quality with the more dense modes. Perhaps this will require some configuration (head alignment) and some experimentation with paper types. Couldn't give an immediate 5* for quality on this basis since it is not indistinguishable to my inexpert eye to the HP original print quality, however given the perfectly adequate print quality for most circumstances, these cartridges represent superb value for money. Many thanks.
