Apple Inc. is the best-known tech brand on the market, a company highly respected for its innovation and design expertise. Today, Apple is better known for its range of iPhones, iPods, iPads, and Mac computers; however, long before the brand was specialising in handheld consumer tech, it was manufacturing its own line of printers.
The first ever printer produced by Steve Jobs and co was 1979's Apple Silentype, a thermal printer that provided 80 column output and was compatible with the Apple II Plus and Apple III computer systems.
In the 1980s, after the release of the Macintosh, Apple began the mass production of printers across three lines: ImageWriter (dot matrix), LaserWriter (PostScript laser), and StyleWriter (thermal inkjet). Using Canon, HP and Xerox engines, these printers were hugely popular with Mac users and were manufactured through until the late 1990s.
While Apple no longer produces or supports any of these devices, the quality and performance of the printers mean they continue to be relied upon by thousands of people across the world.
Apple may no longer provide support for its printers, but we do. We understand that you might still rely on LaserWriters and StyleWriters for your printing requirements. To that end, we ensure you continue to have the ink to meet your needs.
We are one of the UK's leading cartridge suppliers and one of the few to still supply ink cartridges for Apple machines. Whether you print in black or colour, you can trust us to have the best ink cartridges at the lowest possible prices.
