How many pages will this print in comparison to the other compatible multipack?

One multipack says how many pages it will print but not how many ml of ink...the other says how many ml bit not how many pages so I can't work out a comparison in any way

  We are slowly changing over to show ml on all of our cartridges.
  
  Both page life and the ml will contain the same amount of ink. The page coverage is 5% of an A4 sheet of paper.

printer keeps printing a test page before each print run

Just fitted your HP 302 compatible cartridges to my HP 3630 all is well but the printer prints a test page before each print run.
- I would suggest that you check the settings on your printer, as this should only run when the cartridges are initially installed.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HP302 AND 302XL? ARE THEY COMPATIBILE
- You would have to check that your printer takes this range of cartridges. The shells are both the same size, so will fit the printers they are made for. The 302Xl contains a lot more ink than the 302, so will last longer. the exact amounts of ink, can be found on the product description.

How long can I keep the new cartridges stored before use (still sealed)

Lifespan

How long should the cartridges last once they have been opened and placed in the printer if the printer is used infrequently? Concerned that they will stop working after printing a small number of pages if the printer is not used often enough as has happened to us with own branded cartridges from another company.
- Our own brand cartridges are guaranteed for two years from date of purchase.
  
  If you are going to use the printer infrequently then we would recommend printing a test sheet from the printer once a week. This is usually enough to keep the ink from flowing and not clogging the print heads.
  
  Also ensure that the printer is situated in a room that is of a constant room temperature and not placed by heat sources, like radiators, as this can dry them out if not used often.

cant find ink for my hp envy photo 7100 all in one printer

printer works but wont r elease any ink.
- The HP Envy Photo 7100 is a printer series number. Within that series there can be different model numbers, some of which take different cartridges.
  
  If you can look on the front of your printer it should provide the actual model number that we need? i.e. 7120, 7130 etc?
  
  If you can confirm this I can then provide a link for you to click on to take you to the correct cartridges?

Early Problems

I ordered a set of HP original inks for my printer as I have done for years. A few minutes after my order I received a call to ask why I’d ordered originals when Cartridge People inks are lots bigger and are guaranteed to work in my printer - so I changed my order. On arrival I out both new cartridges in my printer, but it didn’t like it. The black cartridge was fine, but the colour showed an empty cartridge in the printer. I rang Cartridge People and was advised to clean the chip on the side of the colour cartridge with water on a piece of kitchen roll, leave it to air dry for 15 minutes, re-insert it into the printer while it was switched on then unplug it completely for 5 minutes before re-starting it. IT WORKED ! This is the first time I’ve ever got replacement inks to work as usually the printer just refuses to work, so thank you, Cartridge People, I will certainly be back for more once these run out.

Cartridge people own ink
