Can a compatible cartridge be used with original epson ones, 'mixed' side by side?

For example, a black compatible cartridge alongside original Epson colours?

Are your own brand compatible xp-255 cartedges

Having recently wasted my money on s pack of ink cartridges for my Epson Expression Home XP-255 printer only to receive the message 'Cartridges not recognized', I need an assurance that your own brand compatible cartridges (5 pack) will definitely work.
- Unfortunately due to the software in Epson printers we are not able to guarantee that compatible cartridges will work in your printer, for this reason we have a guarantee on all our products so if you do decide to try them and have any problems we will happily send a replacement or issue a credit or refund.

Is the black ink a deep neutral black?

Hi, is the black ink a deep neutral black like the original? I ask because many oem cartridges have blacks that print a black that registers as dark blue grey to the eye unlike a good solid neutral black. Thank you in advance :)

Will the photos I am doing fade using your inks. I am making a photo album for my grandson and want the photos to last many years

I am concerned that the pictures will fade quicker using the cheaper inks. Some of the photos i am copying of ancestors are over 100 years old and still as good as new. Is there a time limit
- The ink we use in our cartridges is dye ink, which is the same type of ink that Epson use in their own brand of these cartridges, therefore it should perform in the same way. All inks, whether dye or pigment, will begin to fade over time. Dye ink, generally, is recommended for indoor use on products that will be consumed in less than a year. If exposed daily to direct sunlight or bright indoor lights, dye inks may start to fade quickly.

Cartridges for Epson Printer

These were recommened to me by the customer service/sales team, after I ordered the original brand. I wasn't sure whether to try them, due to having been disappointed with other company's compatable cartridges. I wasn't disappointed. Great Product. Thanks guys!

Good product

I was concerned that these cartridges would not work along side existing Epson cartridges. After reassurance from the company they did. Similar price as Epson but twice as much ink apparently, so we will find out in the future how good they are.

Delighted with my purchase!

I was worried about buying non-branded ink cartridges, but was reassured by the lovely customer care team that these were new cartridges that wouldn’t be rejected by my printer. I did have to push through various warnings on the printer, but none of them meant anything because the printer works very happily with its new (very reasonably priced) ink supply. I highly recommend these over Epson branded ink cartridges, which cost a small fortune.

Cartridge people's own ink is well worth the money, especially so much more ink in them. Apart from my machine telling me I wasn't using their inks, they fitted well. So great, I will get them again.
