Hi, will you refund if the printer won't let me instal them

I want to get these but am worried the printer will reject them either now or next time it decides to update itself. Once these are in do they keep working? I know HP try all sorts to block the use of non HP inks so just want to be sure before buying.

do I have to alter any settings on my hp 7730 ?

I have a hp 7730 wide format printer. will I have to alter any settings on it or will your replacement inks simply plug and play ? thank you
- Most compatible cartridges should work automatically, however, HP firmware can interfere with the functioning of compatible cartridges and sometimes can reject them. In most cases, we can override any errors however, this totally depends on the firmware you have installed. If you wish to try them and they do not work for any reason, please let us know and we will try and troubleshoot the issue. If we cannot, then a refund or replacement will be offered.

First impressions

First impressions are good. I have for the past 20 years used a manufacturer's cartridges, however, their stupidity in pricing and trying to force you into buying inks monthly ahs led me to try these at "half" the price. All seems good so far.

Alternative inks for HP printer

I was unsure if these cartridges would work after HP introduced restrictive firmware. A call to the cartridge people was reassuring. Whilst these cartridges are still expensive, they are much cheaper than the HP cartridges. They work perfectly and should continue to work now that I have disabled firmware updates.
