- We are currently unable to supply our own brand 953 cartridges due to a firmware update sent out by HP to all relevant printers in July this year. We are in the process of updating the cartridges to make them suitable again and hope to have them available as soon as possible

Why do you not have in stock my HP compatible cartridges?

I need Compatible Cartridges for HP 7740, Why have you not had any stock on the last 3 occasions I have wanted to order, This is the third time I have had to purchase from another supplier. I would like to to have a reliable service provider.
- Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
  
  We have been waiting for our suppliers to send the next batch of stock to us for many months now. There has been a shortage of this cartridge everywhere.
  
  I believe we are due a shipment in now towards the end of this month, beginning of next.

I have Purchased your own brand cartridges for my HP Officejet Pro 7740 printer. I installed it today and it wont work

Message on printer screen saying the indicated cartridge has been blocked by the printer because it contains a non hp chip and the printer is intended to work only with new or reused hp chip

The last time I used non HP cartridges my printer rejected them. How can I be sure that the ones you provide will work on my HP printer?

Model of my Printer is:- HP OfficeJet Pro 8710
Brand of cartridge that was rejected:- Palm Tree
Afraid to risk a non HP cartridge now
- There are three main ways that HP will attempt to block you using own brand cartridges rather than their own. The first is by sending firmware updates to the printer that mean the old version on a cartridge is now no longer compatible and therefore the cartridge can't communicate with the printer. I would recommend that you block the automated updates being sent to your printer to allow you to continue to use non branded cartridges, please go to https://www.cartridgepeople.com/info/hp-firmware-update for details.
  
  Also, they have a scheme called HP Plus (HP+) whereby certain benefits like an extended warranty may be offered, but signing up to this will require your printer to use original HP products for the lifetime of the printer. To check whether your printer is enrolled in the HP Plus scheme:
  
  Go to - Printer Settings → Printer Information
  
  If it shows any of the following HP Plus is active and you therefore cannot use own-brand ink.
  
  “HP+ Printer”
  “HP+ Activated”
  “Requires Original HP ink”
  Cloud-managed / security features enabled
  
  If you have not signed up to HP Pluse, you should still be able to use own brand cartridges.
  
  Finally there is Instant Ink, whereby HP monitor your usage and send out ink when you're getting low. For our cartridges to work in any HP printer any Instant Ink subscription must be cancelled and you should seek confirmation from HP that this is the case prior to buying our cartridges.
