Is this suitable for labelling twisted conductor cables? How is it best used?

Intended use on model railway wiring runs.

- This Tape is unsuitable for the Label Manager 280!
  The width of tape is 19mm where the LM280 max is 12mm.
  The compatible equivalent for the LM280 is currently out of stock here.

  Description.
  DYMO D1 Flexible Nylon Label Maker Tape is ideal for wire and cable wraps. It is memory resistant, so it wraps easily around curved surfaces and stays that way. This black-on-white DYMO label maker tape also has an adhesive backing that sticks in the dirty, oily spots where others don't. Specially designed for use with DYMO label makers, this label roll measures 12 mm x 11 1/2'.
