The 3M X-Series X5A earmuffs represent advanced hearing protection technology, combining comfort, innovative design and high levels of noise attenuation. Offering an NRR of 31 dB, they are designed for use in very high-noise environments. The high level of attenuation is achieved through a combination of advanced technologies, including specially designed spacers, formulated earcup liners and innovative foam within the cushions. The earmuffs feature an electrically insulated wire headband, often referred to as a dielectric headband, providing additional protection in suitable work environments. The ear cushions and foam liners are also replaceable, helping to maintain comfort and performance over time.
