Canon chroma life 100+ ink is virtually fade free - how does Cartridge People ink compare - fade over time, or fade in sunlight?

Can Cartridge People ink be used for printing pictures which will not fade in sunlight or over time?
- PGI-580 black is pigment based
  CLI-581 black and colour are dye based
  
  Pigment based ink cartridges have the potential to resist fading for up to 200 years while dye based ink cartridges can only manage between 25 to 30 years. This is dependent on where the print is put i.e how much sunlight and heat it will get.

Will Canon TS8240 accept 581 cartridges?

I have a Canon TS8240 printer and have been informed that 581 catridges will work the same as the 481 cartridge

HI, what is the page yield for this product?

I'm working out a approximate cost per page
- We don't list this. This is due to the page life being based on a 5% page coverage so dependant on what you print will depend on how many sheets. Our ink is always the same or more than the originals.

Ink Levels?

Will the printer recognise these cartridges and report the correct ink levels? It’s a canon TS705a
- We cannot guarantee that ink levels will be read correctly, however if you are not happy with the cartridges, you have a 2 year guarantee

Do these inks dry out if not used regularly

i have found in the past when using compatible cartridges that they tend to dry out if not used regularly and that you then spend ages cleaning the print heads to get a decent print. Genuine cartridges can be left for months without printing a picture but still print correctly

Excellent ink

I’ve always avoided ‘compatible’ inks in the past due to performance and quality issues, but decided to give these a try in my Canon printer. There were no cartridge recognition problems and when I ran off some photographs, initially 6”x4”, then A4 size, I was amazed at the quality of the prints, on satin finish photo paper, from a non-photo dedicated printer, skin tones were very good, colours vibrant and detail fantastic! I would strongly recommend these compatible cartridges and will certainly continue to use them myself..

Would you?

Have used cartridge people before on a HP printer but printer would not accept the used refilled cartridge, so had to always get HP new, went for new Canon original due to new printer and was contacted by C/P asking why not using theirs, explained previous problems to be told that they now use cartridge with replacement chip to identify quantity in cartridge with a guarantee to work correctly so have gone for larger sizes and wait to see what happens.
