Compatible Pixma Pro 100 cartridges

Compatible cartridges from cartridge people do a great job with a huge saving over the cost of branded, the only drawback I have found is that unless you print on a very regular basis third party cyans can clog up, but the way my machine eats up the greys and blacks it's worth the saving on those alone. Colour repro appears to be very good and consistent, personaly I am very happy to use these and with the saving buy branded cyans.

Replacement of Canon ink with non-Canon ink (Cartridge People)

As an experiment I replaced a Canon Light Grey cartridge in my Canon Pro-100S printer with an equivalent one from Cartridge People. When I printed, the colours were clearly different from those on my monitor and quite unacceptable. I subsequently replaced the generic cartridge with a Canon cartridge and printed the same images. The results matched those on my monitor with a high degree of accuracy and were perfectly acceptable. I guess it was worth an experiment but one I shall not be repeating. I'll use only Canon cartridges in future to guarantee the best results.
