An all-in-one printer, copier, fax and scanner, the HP OfficeJet 4620 e-All-in-One Printer was designed to act as a personal printer either at home or in a small office.

The printer uses four different ink cartridges (black, yellow, magenta and cyan) to print full-colour images at up to 4800 by 1200dpi. It prints monochrome pages at a rate of 8 pages per minute and colour pages at a rate of 7.5 pages per minute. The paper tray holds up to 80 sheets of paper at once. The printer is capable of operation without being attached to a PC.

The scanner on the HP 4620 can scan images up to 1200dpi and it can scan documents directly to any device that has wireless capability. Scanning and copying can be controlled using the small monochrome display on the front of the printer. There are also easy to use buttons for entering fax numbers or changing the number of copies needed. The printer includes a document feeder that can hold up to 35 sheets.

HP includes their basic all-in-one software suite with the 4620. This includes programmes for scanning, organising, printing and sharing images and documents, plus OCR software.
