Despite claims the HP DeskJet 3520 e-All-In-One can be a good fit for a home office environment, the lack of fax functionality and single-computer connectivity is likely to see it better suited to a personal user.

Reasonable print speeds of 22ppm can be achieved by a machine that is also able to scan and copy. Scans are of good quality thanks to a scan resolution of 1200 x 2400dpi so they can give a true representation of the original.

Of course, an office user will enjoy the benefits of an auto duplexing function but the same can be said of a university student looking to manage their printing expenditure.

Wireless connectivity is included, as you would expect from a modern day inkjet, but there is no Ethernet connectivity offered with this machine.

An 80-sheet paper capacity should be sufficient for a home user or even a student requiring frequent document printing, but for those with a home office this may be seen as 20 sheets too few.
