HP DeskJet 2544 Review

Described by HP as an all-in-one for both home and office users, the DeskJet 2544 falls slightly short in terms of the functionality needed for business printing.

Despite this, it does have all the necessary requirements to ensure it’s a worthwhile addition to the home. The print speeds offered by this machine are relatively good for those who are looking to print in small volumes with a low level of frequency.

Where the 2544 falls short in terms of being suitable for an office is that it lacks the functions so often required for such printing. By not being Google Cloud Print ready and failing to provide an automatic document feeder, Ethernet connection or A3 printing; it’s difficult to imagine this machine being used in an office environment.

Not that you’d notice it too much on a desktop due to its small footprint.

The 60-sheet paper capacity maybe ideal for a student’s university assignment but once more it’s not quite big enough to withstand business printing demands.
