As an all-in-one for photo enthusiasts, the Epson Expression Photo XP-750 can produce quality prints you’ll want to share with friends and family.

The compact design means this machine is up to 40 per cent smaller than previous models in the Expression range. There is an 8.8cm touchscreen included along with a motorised control panel and auto-opening paper tray for improved usability.

Thanks to the XP-750’s rear speciality feed, users can print on heavyweight photo paper or even on card. For added convenience, there are dual front-loading paper trays so you can switch between A4 and photo printing.

Both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity are available and the printer will automatically find the relevant connection settings to configure itself. Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud print are also supported.

Printing from smartphones is made possible as a result of the Epson Connect feature whilst documents and photographs can be emailed to the printer directly, essentially meaning you can print from anywhere in the world.

With its ‘box-like’ design, there is a lot to admire about the Epson XP-750 and the range of features it possesses.

Photo prints, as you’d expect from an Epson XP model, are excellent and can be produced at quick speeds. For example, a 10 x 15cm photo can take as little as 10 seconds to be printed. Additionally, the printer can deliver 32ppm for colour and 32ppm for mono documents.

The five-ink cartridge system certainly helps the quality of prints whilst a system such as this can help keep spending on consumables to a minimum as you only need to replace the ink that’s been used.

It’s easy to forget amidst all of the photo printing functionality available that this device can also copy and scan.

Both functions operate at a more than acceptable level and there is a lot to offer the home user. Even without an automatic document feeder, the XP-750 is a good addition to the home although it’s well worth assessing the frequency at which you print before opting for this model.
