Will Canon Pixma TS3350 take Canon 545 XL black ink?

I have the Canon Pixma TS3350 and the Canon 545 XL black cartridge I am, however, struggling to place the cartridge inside the printer. Thanks for any answers, they are much appreciated. :)

What cartridges can I use for the above printer.
My previous printer is not working and I've managed to get the canon printer. I need to work from home and no advice re cartridges. I need printed material still quite unable to get advice from shops not opened Scotland.

i cannot find this any where i need ink for it
- The number you have quoted, TS3300, is a printer series number and not the actual model number of your machine.
  
  If you can look at the front of your printer, next to the manufacturer's logo, it should state the actual model number?
  
  It should state something like TS3350?
  
  If you can let me know I can then confirm for you?

I’m buying this printer for my elderly parents , they won’t need colour printing, can I just put black cartridges in the printer?

- No, you will need to have both cartridges in the printer for it to print, even if you are only printing in black text. You can change the settings to print in greyscale on - which will then only use the black cartridge an not the colour
