My printer is more than a year old. What happens if the cartridges causes a problem?

How many pages from these cartridges
- Page life provided for an ink cartridge is based on lab tests done following ISO standards. When these test are performed the same page is printed continuously on standard settings using standard A4 paper, unless it is specifically a photo cartridge where they may use alternative settings. Keep in mind, there are countless variables when using at home, including, but not limited to, cleanings, printer clean cycles, saturation, etc.
  The tests are based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.
  When you print at home you may print full letters, images, photos, therefore printing pages that cover 25%, 50% up to 100% of the page will drastically decrease this provided page yield.

Will my 5540 show the ink capacity and able to perform cleans etc

For HP 5540
- Yes, the ink levels will be shown and shouldn't affect your ability to carry out a printhead clean

Excellent cartridges

Better Than Expected!

I was recommended by Cartridge People to try their own brand but was a bit hesitant at first with HP saying only HP brand ink will do. Printer had no problem with Cartridge People brand & printing quality looks just as good as HP. Probably won't be back for a while as I ordered the XL capacity ink but early signs are I'm Converted! Very Good.
