Brother MFC-J5740DW A3 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer (Wireless)

We had previously owned an earlier model of this printer from the days when we edited and produced a master copy of our church parish magazine prior to a professional print run for distribution. This machine ran faultlessly for many years both for the magazine and our home office use. When we retired and handed over magazine production to other volunteers, the printer continued to serve us well for a grand total of 7 years (yes really!) before wear and tear took its toll. We are now extensively involved with the church volunteer fundraising group, which generates the need for flyers and posters of various sizes including A3 and booklet format. We were delighted to find an updated model of our previous A3 printer, that had even more facilities and at a lower price! Delivery was lightning fast and well supported by timely updates of order progression. Set-up was relatively smooth and I encountered few problems, although I agree with those who have commented that the instructions could be clearer. We were both 'blown away' by the blistering speed of the black printing (in fact I had forgotten to extend the output tray and had to try a 'grab' at the paper as it shot out!). Colour printing was also fairly quick and we really liked the ease of setting printing on both sides. A further bonus was the easy WiFi set-up that removed the need for yet another usb lead around the back of my desk. We are TOTALLY delighted with all aspects of this transaction, are looking forward to exploring and using the other facilities that this machine offers and can confidently recommend this machine and this company to all.

Was easy to set up. Took a couple of tries to find where the network settings were, but easy to connect when I found them. Very good speed and connects quickly with phone iPad etc.

Bought this to replace an older model MFC-J5730DW. It is just as good as that printer. Well built, quality printing, easy to use. If it does as much work as the old one i will be well pleased. Use to use Canon printers until i bought a Brother. Would never go back, can't recommend them enough. Ideal for top end home use or small office.
