Brother MFC-J4540DWXL (All-in-Box) A4 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer (Wireless)

I've been using the smaller single-tray version of this as my travelling printer for two years, but I decided to replace it with the bigger two-tray version after its crate tipped over in the back of my van, turning the printer into a riot of unwanted colour. The fact I've replaced it only for cosmetic reasons with essentially the same model should speak volumes. In XL format, the inks last for thousands of pages each. A set might be expensive, but I rarely have to reorder (another reason to stick to the same printer body). And it's been flawless - it's predecessor did over 16,000 prints without a hitch despite travelling more than 12,000 in the back of a van every year. I do get the odd micky-take when I arrive with a boxed printer in tow, but since that allows me to print course paperwork, exam papers and certificates on-site and then scan the while pack back to the office without the need to wait until I get home, it soon makes people jealous instead.
