    Great Little Printer

    I bought this to replace and inkjet, which we infrequently used, and when it was needed , the ink had dried so the quality of the print outs was very hit and miss. While is is more expensive, it will pay for itself over many times, as we wont need to purchase new ink, just becuase it aint been used in a few months.

    OK machine, but not fully wireless connectable for modern devises

    Didn't realise it would not wireless link to all our devices but to be honest it did not imply that. On older model!

    Brother HL-1210W

    Diagrams showing how to put toner into printer are highly misleading but once I had worked this out the printer was up and running in minutes. Linked by wifi to other printers easily. Cost per page more than the old HP printer it replaced but otherwise seems to be a better printer and much faster. To work properly on USB from Ubuntu I needed to install drivers from Brother and replace those installed automatically

    easy to use once set up

    For its low cost, this printer works well, if you want a mono laser that will churn out good quality text at a reasonable speed. You do need to set it up according to the instructions, you can't just "plug and play" (I did try). Also you need a printer cable even for WiFi set up though once WiFi is working you don't need the cable. I tried without first, but the set up failed and the instructions for further set up without a cable were not for the simple. So good once set up!

    Lovely little printer

    This printer is compact and worked out of the box using WPS. Exactly what I was looking for. It works particularly well with my android device.
