The GP CR123A 3V Lithium Battery is specifically designed for the high power needs of digital cameras and their flash units. It is also ideal for use in alarm systems, torches, shock sensors, wireless PIRs (passive infrared sensors), camcorders and reed switches. Utilising lithium manganese dioxide technology, it delivers a high output of 3 volts and a nominal capacity between 1400-1500 mAh. The battery features a special inbuilt safety mechanism, allowing it to function reliably in extreme temperatures (between -40°C and 60°C). The cell's chemistry also gives it a very low self-discharge rate, ensuring a shelf life of up to 10 years.
