The OKI C8800N is a colour printer capable of printing at A4 and A3.

This is fairly rare for the colour laser market and its quick print speed coupled with a simple installation, makes this a good quality machine.

Potential customers may be put off by the size and weight of the C8800N but you should still consider that it has A3 printing capabilities, even if it may be too heavy for one person to carry. The time to print the first page is 15 seconds and the number of pages that can be accepted is a standard 300, with the potential to increase this capacity.

Though there is a larger page print option with A3, that doesn’t necessarily mean print quality is affected with bright colours looking as bold on A3 as they do on A4.

A good build quality may compensate for a lack of styling and a throughput of 27ppm means it can provide a high-volume instant print solution for small offices. Mono print speeds are even faster at around 30ppm.

High volume printing can also be achieved with low running costs and this is another plus point for a potential office manager shopping for a replacement printer.

One unfortunate downside is that whilst the print quality may not differ too much between A4 and A3, the quality is not too high when compared to other printers available at a cheaper price.
