Initially introduced with a relatively low cost price, the Lexmark X1270 was seen by most as a budget printer for the home user looking for a machine with a little more functionality.

The fax, copy and scan capabilities certainly lived up to that billing whilst the machine’s styling was pleasing on the eye and didn’t leave a large footprint.

Unfortunately for a printer with a lot to shout about when it came to features, the print quality on offer wasn’t the greatest whether you printed text documents or photographs.
