Epson XP-610 Printer Description

Top quality printing can be expected from the Epson XP-610 whether you’re looking for documents or photographs.

Adaptable and able to produce outstanding photo printing that users will want to share, there is even the possibility to print text documents to a high standard as a result of the device having a print resolution of 5760 x 1440dpi.

When using Claria Premium Ink, text documents will appear both crisp and clear whilst photographs will be glossy and possess vibrant colours.

There are two front-loading paper trays available so that users can switch between photo prints and A4 documents. Additionally, it’s possible to print directly onto CDs and DVDs.

When it comes to connectivity, the XP-610 has Epson Connect. This feature allows users to print quickly and easily over a Wi-Fi connection using either a smartphone or tablet. Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print are also supported.

PictBridge compatibility is included and there’s the added convenience of being able to print from memory card slots.

Epson XP-610 Expert Review

Small enough to fit easily on a desktop and quick enough to satisfy the demands of a family home, the Epson XP-610 is great value for money.

Families will appreciate the photo print quality delivered consistently whilst the connectivity options will allow for multiple users to have access to the machine from all over the home. That being said, there’s no Ethernet connectivity available with this machine.

XL ink cartridges will help save users money in the long run although overall productivity would have been helped had an automatic document feeder been included or the paper capacity been higher than the 100 sheets available.

Thankfully, the 100-page limitation is helped by the fact the XP-610 can auto duplex so that users can utilise both sides of the page.

Epson describes this device as a “small printer with big ideas” and it’s certainly true that this compact all-in-one provides value for money alongside a consistently high performance.
