One of a new breed of home printers, the Expression XP-315 by Epson is one of the smallest multifunction machines ever to hit the market.

Measuring in at a very compact 14.5 x 39 x 30cm and weighing just 4.2kg, this printer is well suited to any home set up and built to offer users maximum performance with minimum fuss.

With a full-colour LCD and tilting control panel on the front, users can easily operate the machine on a shelf and Epson have made it simple to print from a flash drive or SD memory card by placing a card slot at the lower-left of the front panel.

Boasting a mightily impressive 5760 x 1440dpi print resolution, the XP-315 puts out images of brilliant quality, with colour reproduction that’s sharp and vibrant in photos, text and graphics. A4 printing in black is done at a speedy 8.7 pages per minute (ppm), while colour churns out pages at 4.5ppm.

The input tray, which resides at the back of the machine, holds up to 100 sheets, so printing remains efficient. Results from scanning and copying, while not at the level of prints, are still pleasing thanks to the 1200 x 2400dpi flatbed.
