The Epson Expression Home XP-305 is designed to fit in small spaces and take up less room than other, similar printers.

It comes Wi-Fi ready to avoid being tethered by a USB cable. It can be connected to tablets, smartphones and laptops and is also compatible with Apple AirPrint. The printer can also be used to print documents directly from Google Cloud Print. The XP-305 can print images up to 5760 by 1440dpi, while it can print up to 15.8 pages per minute in monochrome and 13.2 pages per minute in full colour.

For offline use, the printer has a small 3.6cm colour LCD screen that lets users make some basic changes to photos loaded from memory cards before printing. It can also be used to copy without being attached to a computer; scanning to wireless devices is also available. The scanner’s max resolution is 1200 by 2400dpi.

The XP-305 makes use of four different ink cartridges: black, cyan, magenta and yellow. These cartridges are available in standard size (approximately 180 pages per cartridge) or XL size (approximately 450 pages). The printer comes with a 100-sheet input tray.
