What is a lever arch file?

Lever arch files are folders that feature a lever and two metal arches, and are designed to keep a large number of documents secure. They often feature a thumbhole for more convenient access.

What’s the difference between a ring binder and a lever arch file?

Lever arch files are files where two metal arches are opened by a lever in order to store a large number of documents. Ring binders are thinner and feature rings which open to allow either hole-punched documents or punched pockets to be stored in the binder.
