For small offices, a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder and 250-sheet paper capacity means you can print in high volumes whether you’re producing reports or marketing materials. The MB2050 can even accept XL ink cartridges so you can print more pages.

Cloud services such as Evernote, Dropbox or Google Drive can be accessed using the MAXIFY Cloud Link whilst you can print from your smartphone device by downloading the MAXIFY Printing Solutions app. This Canon model will also support Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint.

Geared towards the home office market, the Canon Pixma MB2050 is certainly capable of meeting the demands of a busy office environment.

The ADF and large paper capacity will win over many fans of high volume document printing and it’s well worth remembering the individual ink cartridge system can save you money. This system means you only ever need to replace the colour that’s been used.

Although the control panel may appear cluttered on first inspection, navigating through the printer’s menu is an easy process. Despite the amount of paper the tray can hold, there’s no speciality paper tray which may disappoint those who wish to print on a variety of media without having to manually swap the paper.

Text documents possess the kind of quality you could expect to see from a laser printer but print speeds are perhaps not quite up to the level achieved by comparable laser devices. Colour photo prints retain the vibrancy achieved by so many of Canon’s home-use all-in-ones which are more heavily focused on the amateur photography enthusiast.

Overall, a more than capable small office printer that’s both versatile and affordable.
