HP CR324A Printhead (Original)

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus suddenly stopped working. Initially got a printer engineer out who recommended this product. Was able to source it a very reasonable cost from Cartridge People (much better value than repair company); very efficient service - it arrived very quickly. Was straightforward to fix and my reliable printer is now as good as new.

I was doubtful that this would resolve my printer problem, but it did and instantaneously.

Great product and great service. Delivered the next day and now I have my trusty printer back. I had previously ordered a cheaper print head that failed to work. On closer inspection (after ordering), I couldn't see many people that got them to work. I wish I had ordered from here.... I wouldn't have wasted 2 weeks without a printer.

I replaced a depleted yellow cartridge in my printer and the printer responded with the following message “ printer failure problem with the printer or ink system” I searched the Internet for solutions and followed the advice of various well-meaning sites but to no avail. In the end I decided that I needed to replace the print head. The option then was to buy a Chinese copy on Amazon or eBay or to order a new one. The reviews for the copies were not encouraging, so I ordered a new one from Cartridge People. I checked first that it came with ink. It does but be aware that this is just the STARTER set of cartridges and not the usual higher capacity cartridges. I ordered and it came the next day and it has resolved my problem 100% and the printer works like new. In the end, for such a robust and reliable Printer, it’s not unreasonable to replace a part after 10 years! Cartridge People were a delight to deal with and I highly recommend them.

My trusty HP8600 was getting pretty old and I was having various problems with it, eventually it claimed that a brand new HP cartridge was damaged and refused to do anything. Decided to invest in a new printhead rather than research a new printer, and it’s like it’s new again. One thing not mentioned in the listing is that you get a full set of HP 950/951 cartridges with it which usually cost around £90 so it’s a lot better value than it may seem at first glance. Anyway I’m very pleased to have it working again and hopefully will get a few more years out of it! Thanks!

I researched the cheaper non branded versions of the print head on other platforms and a lot of the reviews said it didn’t work so I went for the very expensive original part and it works great.
