Reviewed on: September 1, 2023I tend to try and use the paper supplied by the printer manufacturer, even though I know they dont make it and you pay a premium for it, the reason is simple, the printer media type and profiles are already set and available, which means you always get the best and most consistent results for your images. The matte paper is perfect for landscapes with no sheen or gloss, just a nice natural finish perfect for framing or direct hanging. It looses 1 star because you have to pay for the Canon name, which does add costs especially if you start looking at A3 Plus and other speciality papers. But very happy with it, and the prints will last for years and years (with pigment inks)
