The HP Photosmart 5510 is an ergonomically designed all-in-one machine that is marketed towards both home and small business users, packing a range of features that allow it to exceed in either environment.

Taking up minimal space on a desk, the 5510 sports an attractive LCD screen and well-lit contextual buttons that make performing various tasks simple.

There is no Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or duplex printing with this machine, but when loaded up with 60 sheets, printing is fast and very pleasing on the eye.

Clarity of text and images is excellent thanks to the 4800 x 1200dpi print resolution. Copying is done at a rate of 4.5 ppm and 5.5 ppm for black and colour respectively and the results are pleasing.

The Photosmart has a four-cartridge system, with optional XL cartridges, which lower the cost of printing significantly.

There is no Wi-Fi connectivity with this printer, but HP has included SD, memory stick and multimedia card slots. On the software side, there is HP Photo Creations, which improves the photo-printing capabilities of the machine.
