The HP DeskJet 3070A is a multifunctional inkjet printer which has a scanner and Wi-Fi capabilities.

In terms of looks and its styling, the 3070A is a compact machine that would comfortably fit most desktops. The colour may be a sticking point for some customers with the brown and beige options perhaps not quite in-keeping with the overall build quality of what is a smart-looking printer.

It has wireless connectivity for your home network, but HP’s ePrint feature also allows you to print documents by emailing them to the 3070A from any computer or other mobile device anywhere in the world that has internet and email access.

As a printer, scanner and copier, the 3070A is a very good all-rounder and this is represented in the good quality prints it produces. Despite this, there isn’t a double-sided (duplex) feature and unfortunately no card reader offered.

The printer offers 1200 × 600dpi and will print at a reasonable speed with 8ppm for mono and 4ppm for colour documents. Photo prints are also carried out well by this device although it would be recommended to use glossy photo paper rather than plain paper to achieve the best results.
