The Epson Stylus SX130 is a powerful little device that prints, scans and copies.

The printer uses four individual inks to save users money and the DURABrite Ultra Ink Technology System is used to print documents that resist stains and will not smear when highlighted.

The printer has a maximum resolution of 5760 by 1440dpi. It prints quickly, too – it is rated at 28 pages per minute in monochrome and 15 pages per minute in full colour which will be welcome news for students that like to leave their university assignments to the last minute.

The input tray has a capacity of 100 sheets of standard A4 paper or 10 sheets of photo paper. In addition to standard sizes, the printer can also handle envelopes, legal size paper and more. On the scanner side, the flatbed scanner scans at a resolution of 600 by 1200dpi. The copy function features very simple controls and can enlarge or reduce photos.

The SX130 All-in-One Printer has a small footprint and it has been designed for home use. It is compatible with most versions of Mac OS and Windows, including Windows 7 and Windows 8. It is rated for a low to medium amount of printing every month.
