The Epson Stylus Office BX305FW is an all-in-one capable of printing, scanning and copying with the added bonus of being able to fax.

With an automatic document feeder, this machine is good value for those looking for economical and professional printing. Epson has a range of small office inkjets which fall under the Stylus Office brand.

Epson says this machine will provide “perfect results and laser-like documents with DURABrite Ultra Ink, which resists water, smudging, fading and highlighter pens”. As well as a good control panel and simple navigation menu, there are inputs available for USB connections. Unfortunately, there is no USB port to allow printing from flash drives.

That said, you are more likely to go for the wireless printing which the BX305FW is capable of. Geared towards the business market, inkjets have a reputation for inconsistency when it comes to the demands of businesses. Smudging issues have often meant offices have opted for a laserjet though in a small office environment, these can be large and awkward to accommodate.

Print speeds are a little on the slow side at 34ppm for mono, and 15ppm for colour though the speeds remain the same whether you are printing or copying.
