Home users can enjoy versatile printing, scanning and copying when using the multifunctional HP DeskJet F4280.
Efficiency and dependability are just two qualities that users will appreciate when they opt for this HP model to carry out their home printing. The device will produce text documents and photo prints at speeds that will suit a home office or in a family environment where a printer is needed for a child’s school work.
An easy-to-use machine, there are simple controls available so users can get started in no time at all and enjoy the benefits of a device that also has ENERGY STAR accreditation.
A simple design means that the F4280 won’t take up too much room in the home and an image resolution of 1200 x 4800dpi will result in prints that users will want to keep and share.
There’s a lot to admire with the HP DeskJet F4280. It certainly has plenty of features for the home printer user and there’s a no-nonsense approach to the styling and build quality.
The basic build quality is reflected in a rather disappointing 80-sheet paper capacity that’s unsuitable for those with a home office who look to print documents frequently. That’s not to say that the print quality is disappointing. In fact, it’s more than adequate for a home user so it’s disappointing that there isn’t an extra emphasis on home office functions such as an automatic document feeder which could make this machine more appealing.
There’s scanning and copying included but the end results aren’t that impressive and these functions are best for those who don’t scan or copy regularly.
In the main, this is a cheap and cheerful device for the home user but perhaps lacking in the added functionality needed to compete in a congested home office market.
