Acorn Computers was a British computer company established in 1978. Fondly referred to as the 'British Apple' due to its technical expertise and product innovation, the company was hugely successful during the 1980s and into the 1990s. It pioneered many computer systems that dominated the education market, including the BBC Micro, Acorn Electron, and Acorn Archimedes.
When Acorn was dissolved, several of its subsidiaries lived on, most notably RISC OS Open and ARM Holdings a world leader in microprocessors. Another Acorn icon that continues to keep the company name alive is the HP-compatible ABJ01 JP150 bubble ink jet printer. Also known as the Olivetti JP150 (Olivetti owned Acorn at the time of its release), the 300dpi printer is acknowledged as a workhorse machine and is lasting proof of Acorn's excellence in manufacturing top-quality commercial products.
The days of Acorn churning out computers and printers might be well behind us, but that does not mean your ABJ01 is obsolete. If you still rely on your trusted old machine to churn out first-class prints then we have all the ink you need to keep it running. As a leading specialist supplier of quality ink cartridges, we are one of the few retailers that continue to stock Acorn ink cartridges and offer a range of compatible Acorn and HP cartridges at affordable prices.
We have ink to meet all printing requirements, with each cartridge specifically designed to easily replace your current ink cartridge, minimising downtime, and enhancing performance. Available in both black and colour, all cartridges are manufacturer guaranteed, and tried and tested by us to ensure maximum performance.
