The Pelikan PowerPad refills your own HP cartridge, so there is no need to throw away your empty cartridge. Simply remove the empty cartridge from your printer and refill as soon as it is empty. Refilling normally takes about 25 minutes. One Pelikan Power Pad is equivalent to one original cartridge filling. The Pelikan Power Pad is completely recyclable, after use it can be disposed of with your household or office plastic refuse. Tests have shown that an HP cartridge can be refilled 74 times, so there is no need to buy another cartridge for the lifetime of your printer.
