Great for Art Reproduction

My wife is an artist and needed a way to reproduce her work in limited editions. Larger reproductions, over 16 x 12 inches are handled by specialist printers, but short runs, less than 12 x 10 we can now do at the studio using this paper. This paper suits her style of work and virtually matches the larger prints. The printer used is nothing special, and the setting up took time and care, but commercial prints can now be produced on demand.
  • Pros:Just the right amount of absorbency, allowing the ink to penetrate without bleed, the colour is not too brilliant, which means it blend with the colour well, it lays flat immediately after printing.
  • Cons:As with everything it would be even better if it was cheaper!

It's worth using good quality materials

Good quality photo paper. Just perfect to use with my Canon printer. A good weight my greetings cards.

Good for quick images

This is a very good paper for doing draft prints or when the final version is not needed to be high quality. It works well with Canon inks.

a bit disappointed

I bought this brand name "matte photo paper" for my wife who creates journals she had been printing on Kodak glossy photo paper but decided to change to matte paper for some pictures they looked poor when comparing the matte to the glossy photographs, which I kind of expected to be honest, but even I had to admit that the matte pictures looked really washed out I also have some Epson double sided matte photo paper which must be over 20 years old now, so I asked my wife to try that instead and, with the same printer settings, the quality of the picture was much better than the Canon brand so, bottom line is, I will not be buying this particular product again
