As an ideal machine for photo printing enthusiasts, Canon Pixma iP4950 provides stunning photo-lab quality prints employing Canon’s FINE printhead technology.

A print resolution of 9600dpi will see photos possess detailed colours with quality that is grain-free. Borderless 10 x 15cm photo prints can be produced in approximately 20 seconds whilst the iP4950 has ISO ESAT speeds of 12.5ipm for mono documents and 9.3ipm for colour.

It’s no surprise to learn that the Canon Pixma iP4950 has the same stylish looks as many others across the Pixma range.

All-in-ones may seem like they’ve become the obvious choice for families but there is still a demand for single function machines of which this device is one of.

By being a ‘pure printer’ this means that there is an expectancy when it comes to print quality and the iP4950 doesn’t disappoint in that regard. Both text and graphics are delivered with clarity and vibrancy with the added benefit of being able to personalise your favourite films or albums.

Where this printer does fall into the ‘basic’ category is in the connectivity options it lacks. There’s no wireless printing available, for example.

For families, however, Canon’s unique Full HD Movie Print feature is a great way to turn home movie moments into stunning photo prints.
