If you have children who like to print off school work, documents are clear and are delivered at more than satisfactory speeds. A 10 x 15cm borderless photograph can be produced in 89 seconds which may feel a little sluggish although there are speeds of 28ppm for mono and 15ppm for colour offered.

A 100-sheet paper capacity should be more than enough to satisfy the demands of a home printer user although it is unable to provide double-sided printing.

The lack of wireless connectivity is a disappointment and the quality of photo printing doesn’t quite match that of text documents but this is still a good, affordable all-rounder for the home.
