Printing from virtually anywhere in the home is made possible when using the HP Photosmart C4780.
This printer can provide home users with easy photo printing, copying and scanning whilst utilising the colour display involved with the HP TouchSmart frame.
Whether you’re looking to print text documents, photographs or web pages, the C4780 has the versatility to ensure you can print from virtually anywhere. A simple one-button process will connect your wireless networks so you can enjoy printing that is both fast and reliable.
By using the TouchSmart frame, it’s possible to select and view photographs without the need for a PC. Users can scan anything by using the intuitive menu and there is the added benefit of the HP Photo Print Gadget that can give access to ‘drag-and-drop’ printing.
Text documents and photos will be high quality as a result of a 4800 x 1200dpi print resolution. This machine also offers draft print speeds of 29ppm for mono and 23ppm for colour.
A borderless 10 x 15cm colour photo can be printed in as little as 29 seconds.
Possessing the features that help it perform well in the home, the HP Photosmart C4780 can also be seen as an adequate home office device.
This is due to the printer also being able to scan and copy with print speeds that will keep productivity levels high. With the sort of build quality you’d expect from a HP device, the C4780 can easily be accommodated on a desktop whilst ease of use is helped by an intuitive touchscreen.
Prints will be of a high standard whether you’re looking for professional-looking documents or photo prints you’ll want to keep and share.
One thing that will perhaps count against this machine as a home office printer is the 80-sheet paper capacity that may feel a little limited for those that prefer to print in high volumes. Additionally, no auto duplexing facility is offered.
Despite those drawbacks, the price you’re likely to pay for this machine is below what you’d expect from a printer with such a wide range of functions and therefore can be viewed as a value for money product that can fulfil your printing needs.
