Pros: sharp quick printing

Cons: does not like compatible cartridges

Very inexpensive to buy initialy. cartridges need to be the original Cannon. I have found that the printer will flash up a notice saying that the cartridge is either running low on ink or has run out of ink even with a recently installed compatible. The ink is the biggest cost of a printer so maybe it would be better to pay a little more initialy for a printer if it is ok with compatibles.

Pros: good value ease of use good printing

Cons: can be noisy canon ink expensive

I am very happy with my canon ,it's a basic printer for less than £40 and does the job intended,my HP printer was for ever jamming with the canon know such problems,
Canon ink is expensive so i use replica ink which is just as good.
So all in all very happy with product

Very good value for an inexpensive printer. The quality of the print varies depends on the settings but it generates acceptable copies on the "fast " setting. There have been no problems with paper jams which I have experienced on more expensive devices.

Good Little Printer

Pros: reliable cheap to buy and good build quality

Cons: canon cartridges expensive

This is a fine little printer. Pretty quick for an ink jet about 6ppm using colour. It's easy to use, fits neatly in my PC Desk and isn't overly noisy. I tend to use original Canon cartridges which are very expensive, but the quality is better than the budget ones I've tried. There is a warning though that the cartridge needs replacing is very early on. I've carried on printing 5-10 pages per day for about 2 weeks before the ink runs out. I suggest you let a cartridge run out to see how long it will really last based on your daily use.
