Epson Stylus DX7450 Printer Description

The Epson Stylus DX7450 is a compact and convenient printer, scanner and copier giving home users value for money alongside excellent text and photo prints.

Providing users with a cost saving, this printer has an individual ink cartridge system meaning that only the ink that’s been used needs to be replaced. Durable printouts can be expected when using Epson DURABrite Ultra-Ink which can give results that are both smudge and water proof.

High speed printing is possible when using the DX7450 which will deliver prints at up to 32ppm.

Photo prints are of a high standard thanks to Epson PhotoEnhance, software that can guarantee excellent results through an automatic colour and contrast optimisation.

Meanwhile, Epson Easy Photo Fix will help colour correction, dust removal and the correction of background lighting.

Epson Stylus DX7450 Expert Review

More and more of an emphasis is now placed on a printer’s ability to perform a variety of tasks beyond standard printing and the Epson Stylus DX7450 fits the home all-in-one bracket.

Photo printing is fast becoming the most common use for a home printer and there are plenty of features to help deliver high quality results. An integrated memory card reader and PictBridge support also help in the photo printing stakes.

A common complaint with the Stylus range of machines is that there seems to be little to offer in the way of style and the DX7450 is another that won’t win any awards for its looks. That being said, the overall functionality of this model is good enough to satisfy home users.
