It certainly looks the part with a neat interface that offers an easy way to navigate through the machine’s array of functions. Perhaps the most noticeable advantage to using this printer is in the scanner it possesses. This really does deliver clear results and has functions that can help breathe new life into old photographs.

Unfortunately, the MP220 doesn’t offer the perfect solution to your home office printing. The paper tray can at times be difficult to access and refill whilst the device doesn’t use an individual ink cartridge system which means you’re likely to spend more on consumables.

Print speeds and scan quality are good enough for someone looking for a relatively cheap device to print frequently but that doesn’t necessarily mean it would be a good fit for a small office space.
