In terms of the quality of printing, the Canon Pixma MG2150 delivers excellent results despite being classed as a budget printer.

With the same compact design that’s used across the Pixma range, this all-in-one can easily be accommodated in the home on a desktop. It’s also an easy-to-use device capable of carrying out printing, copying and scanning to a high standard.

Disappointingly, despite offering more than acceptable results, the machine lacks the ability to print wirelessly. There also isn’t any double-sided printing option available.

Print speeds for a home machine such as this are acceptable without being astounding and the quality of results is pleasing whether you’re looking for sharp documents or vibrant photo prints. The Full HD Movie Print feature is a welcome inclusion for those who have home movies and are looking to capture snapshots of their favourite moments.

The unfortunate thing with the MG2150 is that without offering wireless connectivity, it’s difficult to envisage this device being used in a busy home environment where it’s likely that people will want to print from various rooms. It should still be a good entry-level machine for many users, though.
